The Indian Catholic Community (ICC) in Vienna celebrated its 26th Annual (Cultural) Day on 28th June 2008 at Haus der Begegnung, Florisdorf, Vienna. Mr. Anup Kumar Mudgal, Deputy Chief of Mission, of the Embassy of India in Vienna, was the Chief Guest of the function. The ICC Chaplain, P. Dr. Thomas Thandappilly welcomed the guests. The programme was opened by the ICC Asst. Chaplain, Pater Thomas Vadathumkualel, who invited Mr. Alex Kallikadan and Ms. Manchu Kinattukara on the stage to moderate the show. A variety of entertainment programmes, such as Ballaton, Semi Classical Fusion, Dance to Rhythm and Cinematic were performed on stage. The ICC General Coordinator, Mr. Joseph Olimalayil, thanked all the participants, organizers and technicians who worked hard and guests for their presence. The function came to an end with the recital of the Indian National Anthem.
